President His Highness Sheikh Zayed
bin Sultan Al Nahyan has issued a federal
decree appointing 40 members for the 13th
Legislative Chapter session of the Federal
National Council.
Eight members each have been appointed
from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, six each from
Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah, and four each
from Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah.
The decree has also appointed 11 new
members to replace former members from
Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and
Ajman. From Abu Dhabi, Ahmed Atiq Khalaf
Al Mazroui and Hamad bin Saif Al Mansouri
are appointed replacing Rashid bin Mohammed
Al Mazroui and Hamad bin Saif bin Muheimeed
Salmin.
Five new members are appointed from Dubai:
Rashid Abdul Aziz Al Makhawi, Khalifa
Juma'a Al Nabooda, Khalid bin Zayed bin
Saqr Al Nahyan, Abdullah Ahmed Al Musa,
and Dr Habib Mohammed Al Mulla.
The new members will replace Mohammed
Khalifa bin Habtour, the former Speaker
of the Federal National Council, Jamal
Majid Al Ghurair, Dr Tariq Humaid Al Tayer,
Mohammed Yousuf Al Budour, and Dr Juma'a
Khalfan Belhoul. Ras Al Khaimah has appointed
Mohammed Ahmed Reqait, Abdullah Khalfan
Al Sheraiqi, Mohammed Rashid Al Naqbi,
replacing Sheikh Faisal bin Humaid Al
Qasimi, Abdullah Ali Al Sharhan and Ahmed
Ali Saeed Leha. Hamad Rashid Al Nuaimi
from Ajman was appointed to replace Mohammed
Rashid Al Sha'ali. The former members
from Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah
are re-appointed by the decree for another
chapter.
